Economic Department of The French Embassy of Thailand
The Economic Department of the Embassy of France in Thailand is part of the international network of the French General Directorate of the Treasury (Ministry of the Economy and Finance).
Economic Department’s activities
The economic department is responsible for analyzing economic policy and the economic situation, as well as country risk. He follows the evolution of the business environment and the conditions of access to the market, in particular with the European Union delegation in Bangkok.
It supports French companies on major infrastructure projects. The economic department advises the ambassador on economic issues and coordinates the actions of partners in the international development support system and promotes the establishment of a framework conducive to bilateral trade and investment.
