Founded in 1913 by King Rama VI, Siam Cement Group or SCG commenced operation as the first cement manufacturer in Thailand. SCG is one of Thailand’s reputable industrial
conglomerates and has, ever since then, helped constructed the country’s foundation for future developments. Today, SCG is comprised of three strategic business units : Cement - Building Materials, Chemicals, and Packaging.
Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1975, SCG has a US$14.0 billion market capitalization (Jan. 2022) and a free float of approximately 67%. SCG registered FY2021 consolidated sales of US$16.6 billion, with total assets of US$25.8
billion. SCG has a total workforce of more than 50,000 employees; of which, one-third is stationed outside Thailand across ASEAN.
