A not-for-profit organization, Thailand’s first greenhouse gas reduction network that supports trading of Carbon Credits & Renewable Energy Certificates, established by Bangchak and another 10 leading organizations with a common vision; raise public awareness on global warming and support carbon credit trading as a solution.

Carbon Markets Club’s activities

1. Raise public awareness on GHG emissions and their impacts to global environment

2. Encourage organizations and individuals to take actions to combat global warming

3. Promote and develop carbon credits trading markets through Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER), Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) and other internationally accepted carbon credits

4. Promote and develop carbon credits trading process and the adoption of technology in carbon credits trading process used to promote activities related to the development of green businesses, clean energy, GHG emission reduction, and GHG capture and storage.
